As some of you might have noticed, we had a fairly significant outage today affecting all of our services. It lasted for approximately 6 hours and during that time both our website and our iOS app were completely inaccessible.
We did everything we could to bring it back as soon as possible, but the root cause of the problem wasn't on our side. Our server provider had some pretty serious problems in the data center where our server is located. It affected all of their services and took them relatively long to fully resolve.
But the good news is that as of now everything seems to be up and running smoothly again 🙂🎉 and we don't expect any additional outages going forward. Our server provider announced they managed to fully address all of the issues they were having. We will now continue monitoring everything for a while to ensure everything is fully functional, but please let us know if you experience any issues.
