With 250k registered users, 120k patterns (including variations) and almost 100k uploaded photos, our old server setup was slowly starting to struggle fulfilling our requirements, and so we had to upgrade it to a completely new machine today ๐.
You might have experienced a brief period of unavailability of our services, as the whole website had to be moved to a completely new machine, but the whole process is completed now, and we're up and running again! ๐
The new server basically doubles the specs of the previous one. We're now running on a 16-core processor, with staggering 64GB of RAM, and 1280GB of solid state storage! I know these numbers might not make any sense to you, but comparing them to a powerful home PC, it's like 4 times faster ๐.
I'm pretty sure the current setup will be able to run BraceletBook for quite some time from now on ๐.
