This is just a quick, but a very important message I wanted to talk about for a while ๐Ÿ™‚.

A lot of you probably already know about this, and are using it, but it seems like there's still a lot of users who might not be aware of a new feature we're having on BraceletBook since we've launched the new website. And so I wanted to write a quick blog post on the user mentioning scheme, and what benefits does it bring, and maybe encourage some of you to mention admins / mods, especially in the forums.

So as I said, since we've release the new version of the website, we have a MUCH better user mentioning scheme available to both the website, and our iOS app. All you need to do is writing an '@' sign followed by a username (@Admin) anywhere in the text you're writing (works in the forum, chat, comments, messages and tutorials).

There are 2 things that happen when you post a message with a username mention in it:
1. The username is emphasized by orange color, and is bold as all other links on the website. It is also clickable and opens up the profile page of that particular user when clicked. (this only applies to the website)
2. A notification is sent to every user mentioned in your text (except for messages, as they are private).

Which means that immediately after you send your message, a mentioned user will receive a notification into the 'notifications' section on BraceletBook, and also a push notification on all the devices he has registered to receive push notifications. The great thing about this is, that he immediately knows about your action, and can reply straight away.

We (admins/mods) review all the content that gets posted to our database (with the exception of private content like the messages), either before or after it has been published, but you can't be sure about who will review your message. And thus I would also like to encourage you a bit NOT to be afraid mentioning me, or any other admin / moderator on BraceletBook, if you think we would be able to help you out, or if you're asking a question not for the general audience, but for us. It really helps us not missing the message, and getting to you a lot quicker. This primarily applies to the forum and chat, as comments should not be misused for resolving any situations connected with the patterns. For this, it's always better to write me a direct message.

Thank you all for your time, and have a great day! ๐Ÿ™‚
