We just wanted to let you all know about a huge achievement we've made this summer. From the beginning of the holidays, we're seeing a HUGE spike in user activity and traffic on the site, and we're really happy about it! ๐ We already broke almost all records we previously had including the number of online users, active users per day and month, registrations per day, content additions per day for almost all categories, and the holiday time isn't over, yet.
You may have noticed slower page load times yesterday for about an hour, because a lot of new users have registered, and one of the parts of the site wasn't quite prepared for it. So if you're wondering, we found the cause, and it is already fixed, so the situation should never happen again ๐. I'm really happy now that we've made such an overkill decision when putting together our server infrastructure.
