Important announcement ❗

Hello everyone! After a lot of thinking I slowly came to a conclusion that probably won't be the happiest thing to hear for you, but one that I think had to be made at some point.

In the last few months, the number of our active users started to grow really rapidly, as I've already mentioned some time ago here in the blog, and I'm actually really excited about it! With the addition of moderators, the community really started to grow, and BraceletBook is more alive than ever before! I'm super happy about the addition of our moderators, as it really helped us achieve a level of quality that would never be possible without them!

But there's still a lot of things that I have to do to make BB possible, and improve it over time. Many of you probably already know it, but BB is actually my hobby project, that I really enjoy working on in my free time. I also have a full-time job, working as an iOS developer for one company, and as you can imagine that also takes a big chunk of my time 🙁. The reason for me to start thinking about optimising my time is, that in the past few weeks I stopped being able to work on updates for the website, as there were so many other things to do for BB that I just couldn't keep up.

There's some changes that are already out there, like the public review guidelines, or added Q/A to our FAQ section, but also some changes I have to make in order to free myself up a bit, like making it possible for you to delete your own photos without the need to contact me, and some others.

The change I actually wanted to discuss today is regarding messages. I was always replying to all the message I've received, but that will sadly have to change 🙁. I've started receiving so many messages daily, that it takes me hours to just reply to all of them sometimes, and as I think it'll be more valuable for all of you if I work more on the website, I won't be able to do so anymore 🙁. So please excuse me if you don't receive a response to some of your messages, and please know that it's because of good intentions.

On the brighter side of things, I'm really sure that after making the changes I'm planning to, I'll have a lot more time to actually work on BB, new features, improvements, updates and so on 🙂. I always mark down all the ideas of all of you, our moderators, and also mine to my to-do list, and there's really a lot of great features that I'd like to work on!

I really hope this will make sense to you, and that you will understand why it needed to be changed 🙁.
