Today's website outage during maintenance

Hello guys 🙂.

Some of you might have noticed a pretty long outage of our services during the maintenance I had to perform today. There were some things we needed to do while updating the website with some minor changes, and it involved turning it off for a while, as a lot of data had to be updated in the database. I had all the code snippets prepared already, and didn't expect the site to be down for such a long time (almost 2 hours). I first ran into some issues, and then the database update itself took a lot of time, so I had a pretty hard morning today 🔥🤯. I'm really happy it all turned out OK at the end, because at some points I really started being a bit worried. I did also check it all thoroughly after things have stabilised, and made sure it won't happen again in the future.

I'm really sorry for any inconvenience this could have caused to any of you, and promise I'll do my best to perform tasks like this better next time 🙂.
